Having a Yarn is the brain baby of Chloe Elise Paul a born and raised Melbourne gal, with a flair for creative arts and keeping it real. After years of cultivating a career in the arts sector, which was decimated during the pandemic, she switched gears and utilised her creative music and events skills to assist people on an individual level. It turns out that she loves working in the social work and sector and has been accumulating knowledge, education and experience in this field ever since. She currently runs Having a Yarn Community Engaagement, which over the years has evolved to a family business, while also gigging and running events in the arts as well
She also draws from personal experience to build connections and rapport with her clients. In 2018, she had an intense injury that made her unable to fully use her hands for a period of time. In 2021, she was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. But with a supportive rehabilitative team she was able to obtain help for her physical and mental well-being. With her lived experience of the system she can offer comprehensive insight and today she is able to continue to live a productive and fulfilling life as well as offer a holistic and joyful service.
