NOTE ABOUT FRIENDS OF HAVING A YARN

This is a resource for clients and carers who work and live with accessibility needs in Melbourne, Australia. The list contains business and services that Having a Yarn currently work directly with and these are services that have been incredibly helpful and flexible to our clients accessibility needs.

Unsolicited advertising requests will not be accepted. If you have a program offering you may send through details and these can be presented to clients but the choice to engage will be by clients discretion.

This is a small club hosted at La trobe University. You do not need to be a student to join, you just need to have an idea and a drive to make it happen. You can also join in on other peoples projects and learn how to use digital storytelling tools.

The team at Marshere have been incredibly supportive to introducing our neurodiverse clients into their classes. they offer term classes in ballroom dancing as well as social events for anyone to participate.


Abada Capoeira

Capoeira is a Brazillian martial arts-dance style. The classes are run weekly all over Melbourne. Each class contains singing and exercises catered to each individual. It is a wonderful space for movement and community and the teachers are incredibly inviting for diverse individuals.
